Bellagio

The Bellagio is the most romantic and classiest hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Here, all the rooms are luxurious, the shopping is upscale, and the restaurants are gourmet. From the second you pass the tree lined, cool pathway and lake that sit in front of the hotel, you will see that the Bellagio has not forgotten one single detail.

The Bellagio's fountains are world-famous; they amaze people from around the world with their show. In the lobby hangs an enormous, beautiful glass chandelier created by world-famous glass artist Dale Chihuly, and the desk is flanked by a lush green display. That display is usually of the same type as those at the Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.

The casino is very plush as well. It's decorated with draped canopies and ornate ceilings, and it has all the usual table games along with slots, video poker, and a sports & race book. For the VIP guests, there's a private baccarat room. The poker room is decorated with art by LeRoy Neiman, most notably "The Game".

The art theme is carried on elsewhere in the Bellagio; there are museum-quality exhibitions in the hotel's Gallery of Fine Art. In the Cirque du Soleil's "O" lobby, there are bronzes of acrobats and dancers, created by sculptor Richard MacDonald.

The rooms are an artful combination of contemporary furniture, modern creature comforts, Italian marble floors and bathroom surfaces, and fine art. Guests can escape to the very Zen Spa Bellagio, and there are fitness classes available in the exercise room at the Bamboo Studio. The hall that overlooks the pool is a great place to enjoy a treat, have coffee, or read the newspaper. The Bellagio has ample shopping opportunities, as well.

For a high-class dining experience, go to Le Cirque, a multiple winner of the AAA Five Diamond Award. Or, you can go to Sensi, with its stone walls and waterfalls go well with the Italian and Asian fare. Get a good fountain view at Olives, or get dessert at Jean-Phillipe Patisserie, which holds the largest chocolate fountain in the world.

If a couple wants a Vegas wedding, they will find the ambience at the Bellagio's wedding chapel very romantic. They can even choose to say their vows on the Terrazza di Sogno, which overlooks the Bellagio's fountains. The Bellagio's mission is to cater to their guests with a contemporary yet elegant atmosphere. A visit there is nourishment for the soul and a spectacle for the eyes, and is an excellent way to get a taste of the good life.
